Give visitors who come from a site the source you choose.
No rule yet. You only need one for partner sites, comparison sites or your own other websites.
Sites a visitor comes back from, which must not count as where they came from.

Your shop's own domains and the common payment providers. They are built in and cannot be deleted.

See how a link will be recorded before you publish it.
Paste a link from your newsletter or your ad, and optionally the page where it will be clicked. Nothing is stored. If the result is not what you expect, check the spelling of utm_source and utm_medium.
The address of the page that shows the link, for example a search result or a partner's site. Leave it empty for a link in an e-mail or a message.

- Campaign
- Landing page
- A visitor arrives. The module notes where they came from: the campaign of the link, the ad they clicked, or the site that sent them.
- Their cart is linked to them. What they put in it stays theirs, even when they come back days later.
- The order gets their first and last source. The first is what brought them to the shop, the last is what brought them back to buy.
- Visit
- An arrival at your shop: from a link, an ad, a search engine, or a typed address. The pages viewed after it belong to the same visit.
- Source
- Where the visit came from: google, newsletter, or the name of a site.
- Medium
- The kind of visit: cpc for a paid ad, email, organic for a search result, social, referral for a link on another site.
- Campaign
- The name of a campaign, from utm_campaign in the link, or from your referrer rule.
- First touch
- The first visit of the customer in the attribution window: what brought them to your shop.
- Last touch
- The last visit before the order that was not direct: what brought them back to buy.
- Direct
- A visit without a campaign and without a referring site, for example from a bookmark or a typed address.
- Not tracked
- An order without a source: created in the back office, placed before the module was installed, or by a visitor whose browser refused the cookie.
- A visitor is a browser. Someone who clicks an ad on a phone and buys on a laptop counts as two visitors, and the order gets the source of the laptop.
- Behind a cache or a CDN that removes cookies from the pages it stores, choose Script only in Detection.
- A browser that keeps no cookies starts a new visit on every page. At most 30 of these are recorded per address and minute, and the housekeeping deletes them later.
- If your shop sees one address for all its visitors, because a proxy or a CDN hides theirs, visits beyond 30 a minute are not recorded. Set your shop up to see the real address of each visitor: PrestaShop needs it too.
- When shops share one domain, a visitor who goes from the shop at its root to a shop in a subfolder within 30 minutes continues the same visit there. Shops on their own domains or subdomains are fully separate.
- When recording waits for consent, a visitor who accepts cookies after leaving the first page is recorded as direct: the campaign of that visit can no longer be known.
- Visits recorded by version 1 of the module do not know their shop.
- This version works with PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.2 and PHP 7.2 to 8.5.
